Packaging the pentominoes
Imagine you want to package a precious and fragile set of pentominoes to be shipped to your Australian friend. You want to package them, like a truly polyformist will do, in such a way they don't touch each other. Which will be the minimal internal area of the box? Here are the solutions I found. I'm not sure they are minimal, but it seems impossible to use a box with area below 120 units.
120 = 3 × 40

128 = 4 × 32

120 = 5 × 24

126 = 6 × 21

126 = 7 ×18

128 = 8 × 16

126 = 9 × 14

130 = 10 × 13

132 = 11 × 12
